Hello, I am Lucia
I work as a project manager. A parent. An expatriate living in Madrid, Spain.
Several years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually turned into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Spain wasn't in the long-term plan. As with many expat relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far larger.
The opening months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, and rising expectations. Daily tasks felt more complicated than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found spots that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt secure.
Why I Built Delta Inspire Ivory
Much online information was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Spain.
